This is such an exciting time for any bride-to-be, although naturally you will start to feel the pressure of looking your best on the big day.
We get it: you’ll be the centre of attention and in front of the camera a lot, so it’s totally normal to want flawless skin. However, worrying too much about your skin imperfections (on top of all of the other million things you’ll have to think about) definitely won’t help – Ladies, stress is not good for your skin!

Before you book in your free skin consultation with Luisa, here’s a quick guide of our favourite pre-wedding facial treatments and when you should consider having them;
Six to Twelve Months in Advance
Anti-wrinkle treatment
What is it? Anti-wrinkle treatment often referred to as ‘Botox’ or ‘Baby Botox’, is an injectable that temporarily relaxes wrinkles and expression lines; it’s a treatment that gives visible results in a matter of days and can last up to six months.
Who is it for? Anti-wrinkle treatment is not only excellent for fine lines and wrinkles but also for our deeper lines, so if you are looking to smooth out your skin before your big day, you could consider our anti-wrinkle treatment. This treatment is particularly popular with the over 30’s, however at NSC we also offer a lighter dose, often referred to as ‘Baby Botox’ for our younger clientele, first timers, and clients who are keen to achieve a more subtle softening of lines.
When to do it? Although anti-wrinkle treatments are pretty quick, its results are not immediately visible: you will start noticing results three to five days after your appointment, with best results seen after 2 weeks. You should therefore plan your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to your wedding date.
NSC Holy Grail
What is it? The NSC Holy Grail is one of Luisa’s signature treatments, giving you natural-looking results combining the wrinkle-relaxing properties of our anti-wrinkle treatment with those of dermal fillers.
Who is it for? This treatment is perfect for anyone looking to achieve younger, radiant looking skin on their big day: the smoothing results of our anti-wrinkle treatment are enhanced by a hyaluronic-acid dermal filler injection, which will plump up the skin, and add both volume and definition to your face. Dermal fillers are a safe and highly effective way to obtain radiant skin thanks to the increased levels of hyaluronic acid, which make them one of the most popular treatments among brides-to-be. Picture-perfect smooth skin guaranteed!
When to do it? The result with Dermal fillers is immediately visible, however the anti-wrinkle treatment starts taking effect three to five days after with best results seen after 2 weeks. Dermal filler results typically last 6-9 months initially, requiring a top up after that time, while anti-wrinkle treatment is required to be repeated every 4 months for the best results. We would recommend booking the NSC Holy Grail treatment in advance with a top up a couple of weeks before your big day.
Luisa’s extra tips on anti-wrinkle treatment:
“When you are planning an injectable treatment for a big occasion, like your wedding day, I always suggest my patients to plan this well in advance: this is because I like to sit down with you and talk about what treatments are best suitable for you and the look you want to achieve. This is especially important if you have never had anti-wrinkle treatments before, as I will be able to illustrate the treatment and discuss with you the best areas to treat and the amount of anti-wrinkle that works best for you. Once we have that down, we can then book your appointments so that they fit your busy pre-wedding schedule.”
Two to Three Months Before
Profhilo
What is it: Profhilo (also known as an “injectable moisturiser”) is a revolutionary injectable hyaluronic acid for fine lines and wrinkles. It is neither a filler nor a toxin but has the properties of both – it hydrates, smooths and remodels ageing and sagging tissue. So, the celebrities you see with natural-looking, gorgeous skin… they probably had Profhilo.
Who is it for? Profhilo is the perfect alternative for future brides who are not keen on getting filler or anti-wrinkle treatment, or for those who need to get flawless skin pronto because skin care has been put to the bottom of their wedding to-do list (tut tut ladies!). The treatment is quick and minimally invasive, and over the course of a few weeks will subtly plump and smooth out lines and wrinkles, hydrate the skin and stimulate collagen for an undetectable natural look.
When to do it? Although effects with Profhilo can be instantaneous, the results continue to improve over the following days and are even better with two sessions, four weeks apart.
One month to two weeks before
WOW facial®
What is it? When to do it? The WOW facial® results are immediately visible, but will continue to improve over time and visible up to 3 months after the treatment. Luisa suggests having a course of treatments to really reap its benefits, although this will depend on your skin type and skin goals for your big day.
The week of your wedding
HydraFacial
What is it? HydraFacial is the ultimate skin detoxifying and deep cleansing experience which rejuvenates your skin with active botanical ingredients. This treatment is highly sought-after by brides-to-be due to its immediate, lifted and radiant results.
