Skin Journey, One Year On: Rachael Casey

Re-join travel enthusiast and NSC client Rachael Casey on her journey to loving her skin with NSC’s bespoke skin diagnosis.

Rachael began her skincare journey with Newcastle Skin Clinic just over a year ago after suffering with common skin concerns for a number of years, resulting in her feeling “down” about her skin. Fast forward a year, Rachael is feeling confident and glowing on the outside! The secret? Nurse Luisa completed a six-step skin diagnosis to target Rachael’s areas of concern and improve the texture of her skin for the better.  

1. OBSERV Skin Scan 

Step one of Rachael´s journey with NSC was using our OBSERV Skin Scanner. This state of the art device is used to collect an in depth visual analysis of the skin. Nurse Luisa then explained the results of the pre and post–treatment skin visuals, enabling Rachael to see how her skin has improved since her previous scan a year ago and access any areas she now would like to focus on. 

2. Skin surface review

Next up, Nurse Luisa reviewed Rachael´s home skincare routine discussing which products were working for Rachael and any that weren’t assisting with Rachael´s aspirations and skin goals. Nurse Luisa suggested suitable results-driven medical-grade alternatives; a personalised ZO skincare program to use at home and carried out a complimentary WOW Skin Peel to improve the skins texture and tone instantly.

3. Below the skin review

4. A holistic approach to skin

5. Structure of the skin review

The last process was to review Rachael’s skin structure and pinpoint areas of concern. Having discussed Rachael’s apprehensions Nurse Luisa recommended a course of skin saviour which is a combination of anti–wrinkle treatment and Profhilo. Initially a treatment Rachael was very nervous about however now wishes she opted for sooner!

6. Aftercare skin protocol
